Eric Young is back from the dead.
Scott D'Amore needed a mystery partner for his IMPACT Slammiversary bout against Deaner & Bully Ray, and he got one in the form of former Team Canada member Eric Young.
Young was "murdered" by Deaner on the December 1, 2022 episode of IMPACT Wrestling.
Young returned in his Team Canada gear, embracing D'Amore ahead of their tag team bout.
D'Amore & Young were victorious in the match, which saw special enforcer Darren McCarty become the official referee after the original referee left due to bullying from Bully Ray. Fellow Team Canada member A1, who was sitting ringside, also got involved.
The finish saw McCarty and D'Amore chokeslam Bully threw a table, D'Amore hit a Canadian Destroyer on Deaner, and Young score the pinfall with an elbow drop off the top.

After being "killed" on IMPACT, Young returned to WWE. However, he never re-debuted on-screen and asked for his release in April once Vince McMahon returned to the company. Fightful Select has more details regarding Young's WWE departure and return to IMPACT.
Steve Maclin was originally scheduled to team with Bully Ray, but an injury forced him out of the contest. PCO was originally scheduled to team with D'Amore, but he was unable to compete after being set on fire on the July 6 episode of IMPACT Wrestling.
