ESPN's Ryan Clark Joking Says He Would Fight Another Analyst After Attending 6/28 WWE SmackDown

Ryan Clark was impressed.

ESPN analyst and former NFL star Ryan Clark was in attendance for the June 28 episode of WWE SmackDown, which was held at Madison Square Garden, and he appeared on-camera. NBA stars Jalen Brunson and Tyrese Haliburton also appeared, and they got involved in the Triple Threat match between LA Knight, Logan Paul, and Santos Escobar.

In a SmackDown exclusive, Ryan Clark was asked to comment on his experience at his first WWE event.

“It was absolutely crazy. I’m in all my group chats, my MMA group chat, I’m like, ‘Bro, I’ve never been to anything like this.’ I’ve been to UFC, I’ve been to Super Bowls. The way that Cody [Rhodes] made his entrance and how it was electric from the start, everybody buying in, I think it was one of the dopest events I’ve ever been to," Clark said.

Clark was then asked whether it was anything like he thought it would be. He noted that it was much more physical than he expected, and he was impressed by the theatrics and the competition.

"It was much more physical than I thought. It was much more athleticism involved, but also the theatrics, like Jalen Brunson, Tyrese Haliburton. The way that everything was tied in, everybody moved together, and also the competition. I love competition. That’s what football is, that’s what basketball is, and to see that out here with these athletes, it was amazing," Clark said.

When asked whether he would want to get "in the mix" like Jalen Brunson and Tyrese Haliburton, he joked that he would be willing to face another analyst.

“Listen, I don’t want to get in the mix with anybody that’s paid to be in the WWE. You gotta let me fight another analyst, and then maybe I’ll do, absolutely [laughs], absolutely," Clark said.
