Ethan Page made a surprise appearance on the October 7th episode of NXT, wanting to speak with Adam Pearce about CM Punk costing him the NXT Championship.
Punk was the special guest referee for Page vs. Trick Williams on the October 1st episode of NXT. Trick was victorious in the match. Punk hit the Go To Sleep on Page after the match.
Pearce noted that he didn't appoint Punk as the guest referee, Ava did. Ava, who was standing next to Pearce, said she was off the clock.
Sexyy Red showed up and Ethan was over it.

Punk was on Monday's WWE Raw, saying he doesn't know what his future holds after beating Drew McIntyre at WWE Hell in a Cell.
