One of IMPACT Wrestling’s top tag team stars is expected to be leaving the promotion when his contract expires in the very near future.
Ethan Page’s IMPACT Wrestling contract is set to expire on January 1, 2021. This was first reported over the summer and later teased by Ethan Page on social media.

After the last set of tapings from IMPACT Wrestling wrapped up, Our premium service, Fightful Select, reported that unless new terms were reached, Ethan Page was finished with his commitment to the company.
IMPACT Wrestling filmed their last set of tapings of the year last week. There are several wrestlers who have not re-signed new deals, and unless terms are reached you won't see them on the next set of tapings. One of those is Ethan Page, who reaches free agency at the end of the year. For those wondering, Josh Alexander does not.
The tapings wrapped up on Saturday after what was called a "grueling" four days. Most of the talent left the tapings on Saturday, after arriving Monday. We're told that the tapings go all the way up until Hard to Kill weekend, which is January 12. IMPACT has flexibility as to whether or not they want to tape their television before or after Hard to Kill, as there's no audience to leak results of the show.
As for his tag team partner in The North, Josh Alexander, while Ethan Page signed a two-year deal in 2019, Josh Alexander announced in February of last year that he had signed a three-year agreement with IMPACT Wrestling.
Page and Alexander hold the record for the longest reign as IMPACT Tag Team Champions and just lost the championships for a second time against Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows at IMPACT Turning Point.
Page continues to hint that he is finished with IMPACT, titling his most recent vlog as possibly the last one he will do as a contracted IMPACT Wrestling talent. You can see the vlog embedded above.
Up next for Ethan Page, he will face Karl Anderson at IMPACT Final Resolution on December 12 and if he wins, he and Josh Alexander will get another championship opportunity.
Fightful will have live coverage of Final Resolution.
