Alexxis Falcon: If Charles Crowley Needs Me, I'll Be There

Alexxis Falcon talks the Cheeky Little Buggers break.

At Progress Unboxing 7 in December of last year, Alexxis Falcon made her surprise return to wrestling after being out of action for around half a year. At the show, Falcon faced off with Cheeky Little Buggers partner Charles Crowley, and after the bout, the pair agreed to go their seperate ways.

In a recent interview with Fightful's Corey Brennan, Alexxis Falcon was asked when the Cheeky Little Buggers spending some time apart came up in her return talks, noting that the tag team is not split.

"No, it came up in the return, and truthfully, the tag team isn't split we're still Cheeky Little Buggers, and we will, I will always have his back, even in Progress. He needs me, I'll be there. I need him, I know he'll be there. Because me and Crowley cannot rely on many other people, clearly. He's been turned on by everybody in Progress and so have I. Neither of us have kind of done it to each other. But so it felt more like a bittersweet, happy moment of you go and show everyone, and so am I. It's only Progress because I feel like Progress is, you know, one of, if not the biggest promotion in the UK. That's where I feel like we haven't had our fair shot at being singles stars. So, it wasn't that the second I got injured, I was kind of like, oh, well, I wanted to break up the tag anyway, because the second I got injured, I was really looking forward to tagging again. On that, my gear that I have with him is my favorite gear that I have. Our music just makes me so happy. The promos that we filmed made me so happy. But yeah, I thought when I came back about a week before, when I knew that it was going to happen, I was like, this is the right thing to do for both of us to make our careers go to the next step. Because then I think I really firmly do believe we'll be the Progress tag team champions again one day. Selfishly, I really hope that he is the men's champion and I am the women's champion at the exact same time because we're aiming big, you know?"

Falcon also competed in Ultimate Riot this past Tuesday at Riot Cabaret. You can read the full results for the show here.
