Anita Vaughan talks working with Debbie Keitel.
For quite some time now, Debbie Keitel and Anita Vaughan have been alligned as The Gals on the Irish and UK independent circuits. Teaming together across multiple promotions including Pro Wrestling Eve and Over The Top Wrestling, they have struck up chemistry from the get go but have been friends much longer than that.
In a recent interview with Fightful's Corey Brennan, Anita Vaughan said that working with Debbie has been an unreal experience, noting that Keitel took her under her wing early on.
"The experience has been unreal because when I first moved up to Dublin, or when I first started coming up to train in Dublin, I will say she took me under her wing a little bit and looked out for me. I think it's because she wanted the women scene in Ireland to grow and she really wanted to help people. Thankfully, she looked out for me. Then along the way, we became really good friends, even though we don't bond over things like movies and such, as I heard from your interview. But no, Debbie, obviously, her experience, she is so experienced in wrestling. Like, she's done NXT UK, Rev Pro, Progress, Eve like, all these big promotions, and she was able to give me her experience, she was able to show me the way, basically. And now tagging with her, it's the most fun i've had in wrestling, getting to to do stuff with the Gals, and long may it continue."
Vaughan is currently scheduled to compete on March 29th in RCW, where she will face off with Progress Women's World Champion Rhio.
