Bryan Danielson Picked Shirt He Wore On 8/21 AEW Dynamite Thinking It Was The One He Retired In

Bryan Danielson comments on trying to throw in an Easter egg with the outfit he wore on the August 21 AEW Dynamite.

During his in-ring promo on the August 21 AEW Dynamite, Bryan Danielson wore a shirt reminiscent of the one he wore during his retirement promo in WWE in 2016. As it turns out, this was intentional. Unfortunately, it was not the same shirt.

Speaking to Fightful's Shirleigh before AEW All In 2024, Danielson revealed that he picked that shirt thinking it was the same but sadly realized it wasn't.

"Yes, it was in theory, but it wasn't the same shirt I picked it thinking, 'Oh, this might be fun,' thinking it was the shirt that I retired in, and then it turned out it wasn't," he said.

While he did not wear the same shirt as in 2016, Danielson is grateful for everything he's accomplished in his career. Still, he is ready to hang up his boots if he loses to Strickland at AEW All In. Fans can read his comments here.
