Daniel Garcia returned to AEW at AEW All In, costing MJF in his bout against Will Ospreay.
Garcia had been off television since he was taken out on a stretcher after a brutal attack by MJF on the July 3rd episode of AEW Dynamite.
At AEW All In, a masked Garcia prevented MJF from cheating and then took off the mask to reveal himself as MJF looked stunned and the Wembley crowd roared.
"It feels like a weight lifted off your shoulders. You're sitting at home for six or seven weeks. You're nervous, you're watching the show every week. Do people remember me? Are people going to remember who I am? Do people care? Am I who I think I am? You go out there and take a mask off and get one of the loudest reactions of the night. It feels like a weight off your shoulders. It feels amazing. It felt like a huge release of energy of 50,000 people. It was a great moment that I will remember forever," Garcia told Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp.
MJF would go on to lose the AEW American (AEW International) Championship to Ospreay after Garcia's run in.
Garcia and MJF will clash at AEW All Out on September 7. Fans can check out the current lineup for the show by clicking here.
