Details Behind Deonna Purrazzo's AEW Debut

Fightful Select reported that Deonna Purrazzo and AEW were in talks, and that she was likely to head there as it was her preferred landing spot. That came to fruition on January 3 at Dynamite

As highlighted by Kimmy Sokol, Steve Maclin was at AEW Dynamite to support Deonna Purrazzo. We're told other members of the TNA roster were there, including Tasha Steelz. Our interview with Steve Maclin went up ahead of TNA Hard To Kill. It was filmed before Deonna Purrazzo's AEW debut.

In addition, Purrazzo's video, music and other elements were finalized in a day or two before Dynamite. Those we spoke to said that Purrazzo was hopeful she could debut in New Jersey, as it's her home territory.

We haven't learned of any extended WWE talks.
