Exclusive: Ciampa Ready By Mid-August?, Bobby Lashley Listed As "Injured" By WWE Internally

WWE's comprehensive list of injuries shed some light on a few stars.

Fightful Select has been able to land some more information after our report on WWE's internal inactive list that we ran several weeks ago.

As of Tuesday, Peyton Royce was listed as "inactive" despite being booked to wrestle on the Smackville show, and at Monday's live event in Fort Myers. Whatever was going on with her seems to not be serious, as she's expected to wrestle tonight.

It was also mentioned last week that former WWE United States Champion Ricochet was not cleared for action during WWE Raw Reunion. He last competed at a live event on July 21, but the injury only had "TBD" listed, with no additional details.

Ruby Riott has underwent surgery on her shoulder, and isn't expected back this year according to the internal WWE list. WWE hopes to have her back by the time of Royal Rumble 2020, barring any additional setbacks.

One of the latest names added to WWE's "inactive" list was Bobby Lashley. He last competed on WWE Raw in the top contender battle royal on July 15, and hasn't appeared at a live event since June.

As reported recently by Fightful Select, Tommaso Ciampa's expected return date -- at least based on WWE's rundown -- is mid-August. Ciampa underwent a neck operation earlier this year that forced him to vacate the NXT Championship. It should be noted that these dates are hardly strict guidelines, and instead WWE estimates of availability, and it wasn't mentioned if this is a clearance date or an in-ring return.
