Colby Covington turns heads -- for better or for worse -- and CM Punk said this week he thinks it's for the worst.
When CM Punk was interviewed by Ariel Helwani this week, he said that he feels UFC interim Welterweight Champion is appealing to the lowest common denominator with his professed love of President Donald Trump, and right-wing iconography.
Fightful.com's James Lynch spoke to Colby Covington this week, and Covington wasn't happy about Punk's claims.
"This is coming from a guy who stole all his moves from KENTA. He's a fake motherfucker, you can't believe a thing that comes out of his mouth. I didn't hear those remarks. I don't pay attention to someone who is irrelevant to MMA. Don't use my name to get notoriety and clout in the MMA world because you're a joke. You're 0-2 in the UFC against two bums they had to bring in. CM Punk should stick to his little bullshit, and leave the prime time to me," Covington said.
Covington has appeared on Impact Wrestling programming, and was also backstage at WWE Raw recently, where he was seen speaking to former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal, and current WWE Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey.
