Matt Riddle does not have a lot to say to or about CM Punk.
On Monday after Raw, The Rock appeared as part of the filming of a movie about Paige. During his appearance he would call CM Punk on his cell phone but CM Punk did not answer. On Fightful Wrestling's podcast, Riddle said it was not advisable for The Rock to call CM Punk in that situation.
"I personally don't see the harm in it, but then again if you let someone be behind the scenes, part of it, you know how wrestling is and you do some shit like that, that's not cool. Especially if you know it's going to rub someone the wrong way. I feel like Triple H and Vince McMahon that would rub them the wrong way. Just thinking about it, like 'hey who could I call?' (Punk) would probably be the last person," said Riddle.
CM Punk claims he didn't answer because he was walking his dog Larry when The Rock called. Riddle could not believe that excuse.
"And that's his answer? That's why I have no words for that guy, his UFC performance and walking his dog on his birthday, I have no words for him," said Riddle.
The movie which The Rock is directing is a biopic about Paige and the scene being filmed on Monday involved an actress portraying AJ Lee who is married to CM Punk. Also this week on Fightful Wrestling's "Brocast", host Sean Ross Sapp and Riddle also discussed wrestling smaller wrestlers and Joe Rogan being a poser.
