Flip Gordon is a promising young star in Ring of Honor -- one who will be a free agent next spring.
"Right now I'm just with Ring of Honor for a year," Gordon clarified to Fightful.com in a recent interview.
When talking to Fightful, Gordon discussed some goals and targets while working for the company. According to Gordon, he missed a shot to be in this year's Top Prospect Tourney, but would jump at the chance if permitted.
"I don't know. My goal was to be in this year's Top Prospect Tournament, but I didn't make the cut. I was happy because I got signed without having to be in it. If I'm allowed to be in it next year, I'd love to be a part of it, winning the Top Prospect Tournament is something I'd like to put on my resume," said Gordon.
Gordon also spoke about appearing on Bullet Club's "Being the Elite" series, where he was welcomed to ROH. Ribs that Bullet Club call "harmless."
"They are harmful ribs and they never stop," Gordon joked.
During one of the shows, Cody Rhodes gave Gordon a Shattered Dreams. Mid-interview, Gordon realized he watched the now 32-year old Cody Rhodes growing up.
"I actually DID grow up watching Cody Rhodes. As weird as that is, he's so young," Gordon said.
