Gunther was able to do things his way.
Since coming to WWE in 2019, Gunther has racked up accolade after accolade. During his run on the main roster alone, Gunther has notched a historic reign with the Intercontinental Championship and won the King Of The Ring tournament.
While speaking to Fightful for a new interview, Gunther was asked to list the accolade from his career that he’s most proud of. In response, Gunther stated that he’s proud of being able to do everything the way he’s wanted to.
"Doing all of that doing it the way I wanted to. I never wanted to go into any developmental system with the idea of ‘change everything.’ I always had a pretty good idea of what I want to be and who I want to be. Just sticking with that and fighting the battles along the way to keep it that way. To get through that, to here, that’s what makes me most proud."
