Heather Reckless has crossed the line.
TNA Wrestling officially announced that Heather Reckless has signed with the promotion. Reckless worked the TNA iMPACT! tapings in June in Chicago, taking on Ash By Elegance. She returned for the tapings in Kentucky following TNA Emergence.
"I wrestled for them twice. My first match was with Gisele Shaw. This was like a year ago. They finally came back to Chicago a couple of times. I went to Bound For Glory, but that show was packed. I had to wait for the next time and I finally got an opportunity. Here we are," Reckless told Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp.
Asked when she was approached to sign with the company, Reckless said it happened shortly after her match at the Kentucky tapings.
"After the match. We had thirty minutes to an hour afterward. Gail Kim, she opened an office door and was like, 'Come here.' 'Oh no' [laughs]. I went in there and she was like, 'We want to offer you a contract.' So exciting," she recalled.
When asked what it meant to get the offer from Gail, Reckless replied, "I cry about it all the time. Just thinking about Gail and what she's doing. She's helping the future of women's wrestling. It makes me cry. I love her. It's the ultimate compliment. I love watching her interviews, we're still getting to know each other, but from listening to her, I feel I can relate to her in ways that I can't explain. It's great. It's the ultimate compliment. She's amazing."
Reckless has worked for independent promotions such as Black Label Pro, AAW, Glory Pro, and has appeared on ROH TV.
Fightful has coverage of TNA iMPACT! every Thursday beginning at 8 p.m. ET followed by a post-show review podcast on our YouTube channel.
