Hit Row's Isaiah Scott, Top Dolla, And Ashante Adonis Released By WWE

Isaiah “Swerve Scott,” AJ “Top Dolla” Francis, and Ashante Adonis have all been released by WWE, Fightful can exclusively confirm.

Hit Row was briefly a top act in NXT with Isaiah Scott even becoming the NXT North American Champion. The group, along with B-Fab, were drafted to SmackDown in the 2021 WWE Draft. B-Fab was let go by WWE on Thursday, November 4, 2021, and 2 weeks later, the rest of the group has been cut. Hit Row had only formed as a faction on NXT in May 2021.

Following the release of B-Fab, Dolla collaborated with her on a track that would be released on social media.

AJ Francis was also the host of WWE's Most Wanted Treasures on the A&E Network

The group had started a rivalry with Jinder Mahal and Shanky on the most recent episode of SmackDown and following a backstage promo where Mahal and Shanky were making fun of the group, Top Dolla responded on social media with a diss track that would be deleted shortly thereafter. Learn more here.

In an internal e-mail, WWE head of talent relations John Laurinaitis cited budget cuts as the reason

Top Dolla tweeted following his release confirming he has a 90-day no-compete release and thanking Serpentico from AEW, who trained him.

Ashante Adonis has tweeted following his release simply saying thank you to WWE. Swerve Scott has also been tweeting and he has been retweeting tweets in regards to his independent persona, Shane "Swerve” Strickland.
