Isaiah “Swerve Scott,” AJ “Top Dolla” Francis, and Ashante Adonis have all been released by WWE, Fightful can exclusively confirm.
Hit Row was briefly a top act in NXT with Isaiah Scott even becoming the NXT North American Champion. The group, along with B-Fab, were drafted to SmackDown in the 2021 WWE Draft. B-Fab was let go by WWE on Thursday, November 4, 2021, and 2 weeks later, the rest of the group has been cut. Hit Row had only formed as a faction on NXT in May 2021.
Following the release of B-Fab, Dolla collaborated with her on a track that would be released on social media.
AJ Francis was also the host of WWE's Most Wanted Treasures on the A&E Network
The group had started a rivalry with Jinder Mahal and Shanky on the most recent episode of SmackDown and following a backstage promo where Mahal and Shanky were making fun of the group, Top Dolla responded on social media with a diss track that would be deleted shortly thereafter. Learn more here.
In an internal e-mail, WWE head of talent relations John Laurinaitis cited budget cuts as the reason
