Impact Wrestling could be getting another name change.
After announcing that they'd purchased Global Force Wrestling, the Tennessean reports that Anthem Sports will rebrand Impact as Global Force Wrestling, with Jeff Jarrett continuing to run the ship. This comes after the company renamed themselves Impact from TNA earlier this year.
Fightful.com reached out to several contractors and wrestlers within Impact wrestling about the situation, and none of them had any idea if the change was going to take place.
The brand will run their "Slammiversary" show this Sunday from Orlando, Florida. Their weekly television program on Pop TV will continue to go by "Impact," as it has for 13 years.
