J-Rose: The Infantry Are Out There Putting In Work, That’s Who I’d Want To Be The ROH Tag Champions

J-Rose says that if it were up to him, he would put the ROH World Tag Team Championships on The Infantry (Carlie Bravo & Shawn Dean).

Since Ring Of Honor began airing weekly episodes of television again, The Infantry have emerged as one of the top teams in the company. Carlie Bravo & Shawn Dean hold wins over the likes of The Kingdom, The Outrunners, and have also gotten to share the ring with the likes of teams like Shane Taylor Promotions and The Gunns.

On Sunday, October 29, The Infantry will make their debut for Naptown All-Pro Wrestling, which is a promotion ran by J-Rose. In a new interview with Fightful Overbooked's Indied podcast, J-Rose said that he wants the promotion to be the home of The Infantry on the independent scene, but also noted that he thinks the duo should be the ROH World Tag Team Champions.

“Carlie Bravo, NAP roster member before he started that TV stuff. Carlie was in here for us putting in work and The Infantry told me that they’re looking for a home on the independents. Their home is obviously ROH, where if it was up to me, they would have their fair shot at the ROH Tag Team Championships, but I don’t know what’s going on with that. I’m sure big TK and general manager Stokely Hathaway have a bunch of things that they have planned for that, but if it were up to me, who’s out there putting in the work? Who’s out in the streets trying to spread the message of the company? It’s them. That’s who’d I’d want as champs, instead of — I’m not gonna say anything disparaging about Max because that’s my friend. But one of the best tag teams in the world at this point, and they’re not really given the opportunity to showcase that, so they’re looking for a home. Naptown All Pro can be their home but in order for this to be their home, they have to show that same level of intensity, drive, and desire that they do on TV.”
