Jake Something's IMPACT Wrestling Contract Set To Expire Soon

One of IMPACT Wrestling's most imposing stars is close to being a free agent.

Fightful Select has learned that Jake Something's IMPACT deal is set to expire soon, specifically at the end of February. At that point Jake will officially be a free agent, unless a new deal with the company is reached. Impact has had a bit of a turnover of late, seeing recurring stars such as Rohit Raju leave the company of late, in addition to Brandi Lauren, Petey Williams, Kiera Hogan, Matt Striker, and Ace Romero, while adding names like Lady Frost, PCO, Zicky Dice and others.

We're told February 28 is the end of Jake Something's deal, but we aren't told if that is his last day, or the day the contract expires. Many on the IMPACT roster are working without a formal, exclusive contract as well. We haven't heard of extended talks between the two sides, but have learned there was at least a brief discussion on the matter.

The 32-year old has appeared regularly for IMPACT since 2018, working a few dates in 2017. Fightful will have more on the situation as it develops.
