Jordynne Grace comments on the future of TNA's relationship with NXT.
TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace was an entrant in the 2024 Women's Royal Rumble. She was then revealed as NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez's challenger at NXT Battleground. Grace defeated Stevie Turner on the June 4 episode of NXT and lost to Perez at NXT Battleground, where Ash By Elegance also made an appearance.
In an interview with Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, Jordynne Grace commented on the NXT/TNA relationship potentially continuing.
"I think [Against All Odds] is important, but the one there in front of their faces was probably the most important one. I think I did well enough that we’re going to continue on with it. There are so many cool things that can happen. The Rascalz stuff, that would be such a natural lead in. Off the top of my head, I know it’s off the wall, but I really want to see Nia against Jessica Havok. That’s such a cool matchup and those are two girls that have the same style and body type. You wouldn’t see that anywhere else. I want to wrestle Chelsea again. I love wrestling her," Grace said.
Grace also commented on how Moose was mad about what she said in about not letting him know about her NXT appearance ahead of time in a previous interview. She noted that she heard from people who told her who they wanted to wrestle. Grace stated that her appearance in NXT sowed that you could not rule anything out.
"Moose was mad about me saying something about that. I can’t talk about Moose anymore in interviews. Some people have reached out, ‘this would be really cool,’ basically just telling me who they want to wrestle. You can’t count out anything. This is proof of that. Anything is possible in wrestling right now," Grace said.
Grace will defend the TNA Knockouts World Championship in an open challenge at TNA Against All Odds on June 14.
