Jordynne Grace made time for Shawn Michaels and Sexyy Red.
TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace and Sexyy Red were both involved in the historic NXT Battleground event. Grace challenged Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women's Championship, while Redd hosted the show and danced throughout the night. WWE then posted a skit with Grace, Michaels, and Red in which the legend, who leaned into the jokes by wearing a chef hat, called NXT Battleground a five-star meal.
In an interview with Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, Jordynne Grace was asked about the skit with Shawn Michaels and Sexyy Red.
"I don’t know how it came together. They just came up to me and were like, ‘Do you have time to film something with Shawn and Sexyy Red?’ I was like, ‘I don’t care if I don’t have time, I’m going to make some time. We’re doing this right now.’ Did they release one of Sexyy and Shawn by themselves? I won’t go into that, but they filmed something by themselves first that I hope they release because it’s hilarious. Afterward, they took us to some weird kitchen area, and the guy was like, ‘We have three lines for y’all to do.’ We filmed it twice because the first time that I flexed, I almost punched him in the face because I came up super fast. Then they had us re-do it. It’s very anticlimactic. It wasn’t super thought through. I pitched the one that they did with Triple H and the little girl, but they said we didn’t have time," Grace said.
