Kyle Fletcher Comments On Certain Australian Stars Being Left Out Of Press For AEW Grand Slam

Kyle Fletcher is grateful for AEW in Australia.

Near the end of the summer in 2024, AEW surprised fans around the world by announcing that they'd be hosting a show in Australia in February 2025. Now, AEW Grand Slam is starting to take shape as the company prepares to visit the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Saturday, February 15.

When the show was announced, some fans were upset with the fact that AEW didn't spotlight certain Australian talent in an effort to promote the show. While speaking to Down Under The Ring for a new interview, Fletcher agreed with this notion but said that he doesn't want to get caught up in little things like that.

"Yes, there were. Yeah, I don't know how all the press works, to be honest. I think that's very much like [an] above my pay grade type thing. I think it was surprising to me. If there were strays left off, why would you not advertise that? We all had that thought. Regardless, it's just crazy that it's going to happen. I think getting caught up in the little things like that is a bit silly. I think just the fact that it's even happening is like, years ago, I wouldn’t have expected anything like this to happen. So I'm just grateful and blessed that it is."'

Elsewhere in the interview, Fletcher talked about how Grand Slam Australia is going to bring two of his loves together. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
