While speaking to Fightful for a new interview, Mark Briscoe talked about running into Jericho for the first time despite the fact that they've both been active in-ring competitors for over 20 years.

"To me, it’s attributed to the beauty of professional wrestling, how something like that can be the case. Guys who have been doing it at the highest level, at the same exact time, but never crossed paths. There are so many different flavors. Pro wrestling is different strokes for different folks. You got lucha libre, strong style, death match wrestling, everything pro wrestling is. The beauty of pro wrestling is that it’s the greatest variety show in the world. It is cool where a guy like me and a guy like Jericho, when our paths finally do cross. We’re almost there. It’s going to be wild."

Elsewhere in the interview, Mark Briscoe said that he wants to have marquee matches on ROH TV. Learn more about those comments here.
