Currently, Cardona holds championships in promotions such as World Series Wrestling, House Of Glory, Squared Circle Expo, DDT, and many others. Some fans have compared Cardona's current run to one of Ultimo Dragon's notable runs in wrestling, where he held nine championship belts at one time.

While appearing on a recent episode of Fightful's The Hump, Cardona said that he wants to at least tie Ultimo Dragon's record.

“I’m almost up there with Ultimo Dragon’s record for titles held at the same time. I think I’m like one or two away, so I think it’d be pretty cool to at least tie that prestigious record. There’s a couple companies that I’m involved in that I might have some title opportunities coming up, so if I can win those, that'd be pretty cool.”

Cardona went on to say that he was nearly set to face Dragon at WrestleCade later this year, but his booking fee was too high for the promotion.

“Bro, I would love that. The match almost happened — I don’t know if I’m supposed to say this, but what are they going to do, fire me? It was supposed to happen at WrestleCade this year but I heard price was a little too highski.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Cardona chatted about the two things that would get him to return to WWE. Fans can learn more by clicking here.
