Mina Shirakawa has high praise for Jushin Liger.
Despite the fact that he retired in 2020, Jushin Liger's influence is still being felt across the world of wrestling, as many of today's performers looked up to Liger when they were just fans.
As it turns out, Mina Shirakawa is also a massive fan of Jushin Liger as well.
While speaking to Fightful's Grapsody podcast for a new interview, Shirakawa noted that Liger is a god to her.
"Jushin ‘Thunder’ Liger is a God to me. A real God. He’s a masked man and very mysterious. He is known by wrestling fans all over the world. Every fan knows him. He’s small but muscular, and can do high-flying moves and technique. He wears a mask, but we can feel his emotion through the mask. Joy, anger, pleasure, we can feel him. It’s an important skill. He is a God to me."
Elsewhere in the interview, Shirakawa reflected on competing in NJPW. Learn more about those comments here.
