Tama Tonga wants to hug it out with Bullet Club.
In a 2022 interview with Fightful, Adam Cole talked about the state of Bullet Club. At the time, the gorup had many sub-groups, most of which did not get along with one another. In that interview, Cole stated that he wished all of the members of Bullet Club could come together for a group hug instead of fighting one another in their own civil war.
Despite being seperated from Bullet Club at this point in his career, Tama Tonga seems to agree with Adam Cole. In a new interview with Fightful, Tonga said that he wants to bring it all together for a care bear hug.
"There has been so much drama and turmoil within Bullet Club, that we’ve given people that. For once, let’s bring it all together, Care Bear hug it, and move forward. The greatest faction in the whole entire industry."
Tonga was then asked if The OC (Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows) count as official members of Bullet Club.
"I’m not part of Bullet Club anymore, so I’m not going to say anything. I’m GOD, I’m outside, I am New Japan. Ask me something about New Japan and I’ll tell you who has a right or not. Bullet Club, you should ask David Finlay that. Scott D’Amore, he’s still Bullet Club. No one kicked him out."
Tonga then went on to reveal that he no longer gets residuals from Bullet Club.
"Hell nah. I’m out."
Elsewhere in the interview, Tonga confirmed that he worked without a contract in New Japan Pro Wrestling for a number of months, and during that time, he had talks with WWE. Fans can learn more by clicking here.
