Thekla: I Am Currently Still A Freelancer And I'm Free To Do Whatever

Thekla confirms that she remains a freelancer.

Throughout the past few years, Thekla has become a consistent part of STARDOM, competing for the promotion and winning championships in Japan. The Austrian wrestler's contract status has been discussed by fans for some time, and one half of the current Goddesses Of Stardom Champions has now confirmed her current status.

While speaking to Grapsody's Righteous Reg and Phil Lindsey in a recent interview, Thekla was asked about her current contract status, with Thekla confirming that she is still a freelancer and is 'free to do whatever.'

"I think yes, I am currently still a freelancer and I'm free to do whatever. I've got a lot of freedom to move around. So, yes, my contract is not still up, but coming up again because I think the time when I was talking to [Lyric], that was in January. So we've got November now, so time of the year is coming. I think you're most likely gonna see some more of me and maybe outside of Japan. No more, no more, no more, no more. Yeah, I think you get it. So everybody stay tuned. That's all I can say for now."

Elsewhere in the same interview, Thekla commented on the STARDOM and New Japan Pro Wrestling crossover event Historic X-Over II. You can read more about that here.
