Trevor Lee discusses Eric Bischoff in MLW.
On Thursday, December 5, MLW hosted a special one night event, Eric Bischoff's One Shot. The show allowed Bischoff to take creative control of MLW for one night only -- a little under five years after his last full-time gig in the business.
Eric Bischoff's One Shot also featured the MLW debut of Trevor Lee, who challenged Mistico for the MLW World Middleweight Championship.
While chatting with Fightful for an interview that was recorded before the show, Lee talked about Bischoff in MLW and how he's hopefully bringing eyes to the product.
"No, I've actually never met Eric Bischoff before, but he's definitely a very polarizing character and he's going to be bringing a lot of eyes to what MLW is doing Thursday night—a free YouTube event. So, I mean, whoever can bring the most eyes to it is going to be great. So it would be very interesting to meet Eric and see how that goes. But hopefully he doesn't hate me too much.
Lee went on to talk about Bischoff's recent popularity, citing his recent NXT appearance.
"Yeah, definitely. Because I hadn't really seen much of him in recent and then he shows up announced for MLW and then he showed up on NXT, you know what I mean? So I guess he's getting around now."
