WWE has more layoffs
Fightful Select has been told WWE has laid off some more corporate employee in a couple of departments such as marketing, shop areas and other consumer product areas. We've not been told that any talent cuts are expected during these layoffs. There are several people that we've spoken to that have been let go over the last few months who said they were told by people in the company that there's a good chance they could be brought back.
These layoffs come before the Q2 financial earnings conference call on Thursday, July 29, 2021. Fightful will have live coverage of the call and a detailed analysis of the earnings report.
Recently, there was another layoff at the corporate level which made major news as Canyon Ceman, the former Senior Vice president of Talent Development, was also recently released. Learn more here.
