- Ricky from WWE Smackdown was Ricky Gibson of Midnight Heat, an indie tag team. They're facing FTR later this month. He was not listed on rundowns.

Bret Hart was under the weather at Raw, and shortly before the show it was unsure if he'd be able to do his segment. However, he was okay by the time the show start.

Natalya was backstage at Raw for the first time since she signed her new contract. It was one of the first two-plus month absences of her entire career.

Natalya was not hidden throughout the day at WWE Raw, and many of the Hart Family were at the show.

Senior writer Alexandra Williams was credited with writing the Drew McIntyre, Wade Barrett and Adam Pearce segment. She was seen backstage with Stephanie McMahon on the WWE Draft episode of Raw earlier this year.
- Roman Reigns was not listed on rundowns either, but was always planned for the show. They decided in the last week or two to stop advertising him, and to make him a "surprise."
- The Michin vs. Piper Niven match was originally supposed to get several more minutes before it got cut for time.
- As highlighted, Smackdown will now have the benefit of an occasional overrun on the USA Network.
- There are not plans for Vickie Guerrero, Rob Van Dam, Ron Simmons or Teddy Long to be used regularly going forward.
- Gunther, Ludwig Kaiser and Damian Priest were all at Smackdown to work dark matches, which is why they were shown on TV.
