Xena talks working alongside Mina Shirakawa.
Since her early days in STARDOM, Xena has been affiliated with Mina Shirakawa, following her from Club Venus to the Empress Nexus Venus.
Together, Shirakawa and Xena have wrestled nearly fifty matches together since early 2023. Earlier this year, Xena, Shirakawa, and Maika held the Artist Of STARDOM Championships for 127 days.
While speaking to Fightful for a new interview, Xena talked about Shirakawa’s recent burst of popularity and how she helped her early on in her career.
"I feel like Mina deserves the grand stage. ‘Cause she just comes out and it's all eyes on her. Do you know what I mean? The charisma, she's entertaining. Everyone loves watching her. Like if she's just walking the [aisle], staring down like, ‘Yeah, what?’ I feel like without Mina, none of us gaijins would have been here in the first place. Because when they scattered the girls, it was during Club Venus. So seeing where they are today, like a big part of it is because of Mina Shirakawa. She helped me with my first match. She showed me what to do. She showed me how to like work the style. She came with me and like pretty much mentored me the whole time."
