- Atsushi Onita, who has held political office in Japan in the past, is planning on running for mayor in the city of Kansai this April.

- Impact Wrestling's application for a trademark on "Impact Grand Champion" has been denied. It was denied because the application doesn't show that the mark is used in commerce in connection with any of the goods they specified. No word on what the next step would be.

- In another historic first, Destiny World Wrestling will make history as WWE United Kingdom champion Pete Dunne and new Impact Global champion Austin Aries will battle on January 21 in Toronto, Canada:
