MSK and Grizzled Young Vets are headed to the Dusty Cup finals.
The two teams will meet at NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day with the winning team earning an NXT Tag Team Title match.
MSK (Wes Lee & Carter Nash) punched their ticket to the finals by defeating Legado del Fantasma (Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza) in the opening bout of the night. MSK scored the win with their lifted running blockbuster.
MSK made their NXT debut in the first round of the tournament, defeating Jake Atlas and Isaiah "Swerve" Scott. In the quarterfinals, they knocked off Drake Maverick and Killian Dain.

In the main event of the night, Grizzled Young Vets (James Drake & Zack Gibson) defeated Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher. The finish saw Drake & Gibson hit Ticket to Mayhem on Ciampa.
Grizzled Young Vets competed in the finals of the 2020 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, losing to Riddle & Pete Dunne. Drake & Gibson defeated Kushida & Leon Ruff and Ever-Rise (Chase Parker and Matt Martel) before their victory in the semifinals.
