Finn Balor Comments On In-Ring Return

Finn Balor should be making his way back to WWE programming soon.

On Friday night in Buffalo, following his first match since injuring his shoulder at Summerslam last August, Balor gave a brief in-ring interview that ended with the terse but tantalizing statement of, "See you soon."

WWE Raw (10/28) Viewership And Demo Rating Drops Against MLB World Series Game 3 and Monday Night Football

WWE posted video of Balor's promo from the promotion's main Twitter account:

Balor, who was one of the first picks in the WWE draft back in July, quickly vaulted to the top of the card for the Raw brand but suffered a shoulder injury during his match at Summerslam against Seth Rollins to crown the inaugural Universal Champion. Balor won the match, but had to vacate the title the next night on Raw due to injury.

Balor made his return to the ring during this weekend's loop of live events. On both Friday in Buffalo and Saturday in Toronto, Balor teamed with Chris Jericho and Sami Zayn in six-man tag action against Kevin Owens, Samoa Joe, and Triple H. The matches also were noteworthy because of the participation of Triple H, as they marked his first matches in America since his loss to Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 32. Triple H did wrestle a few matches on a German tour last April.

Balor also is advertised for the March 26 house show in White Plains, NY.  Time will tell if he is inserted into the card for WrestleMania 33, which takes place April 2 in Orlando, or if WWE will choose to wait and have him make his television return as part of the post-WrestleMania plans for the Raw brand.

Fightful.com will have a complete report on all the WWE and NXT house shows from this weekend on Tuesday.
