On October 8th, Representatives for Janel Grant asked for nondisclosure agreements to be waived in their lawsuit against Vince McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinaitis. Grant is accusing McMahon of sexual assault and sex trafficking. The lawsuit was filed by Grant in January.
On October 29th, Janel Grant's reps gave the following statement, informing fans that the NDAs have yet to be waived.

"WWE has a responsibility to protect its own employees. Yet, time and time again, WWE and their executives have been sued for sexual misconduct and toxic workplace culture, including by Janel Grant, who endured years of sexual abuse at the hands of founder and former WWE CEO Vince McMahon, WWE executive John Laurinaitis, and the WWE organization. Today, there are no visible sexual harassment or workplace conduct policies provided on the WWE website. In addition, they still haven't waived former employee's NDAs to speak freely about their experiences. WWE claims to be better, they need to prove it."

Janel Grant, a former WWE employee, filed a lawsuit in January against Vince McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinaitis. The lawsuit accuses McMahon of sexual assault and sex trafficking. On May 30, Grant agreed to pause the lawsuit for six months while the federal investigation continued against McMahon, who resigned from TKO/WWE following the lawsuit being filed.
