Finn Balor sends a message.
On the September 9th episode of WWE Raw, Rey Mysterio and the LWO got into a backstage confrontation with Finn Balor and The Judgment Day. The WWE Hall of Famer then challenged Balor to face him, and they clashed in a singles match later in the show.
Balor and Mysterio battled back and forth in a hard-fought bout. Late in the match, Balor wrenched Mysterio's legs while he was in the ropes, and he refused to listen to the referee's count. The referee rang for the bell, and Balor eventually let go. Balor started to walk away, but he came back and dropkicked Mysterio into the ring post.

Backstage, Balor commented on his actions by saying it was a reminder of what The Judgment Day was capable of. Balor and McDonagh used it as a statement ahead of their upcoming WWE World Tag Team Championship Match against The New Day on the September 16th episode of WWE Raw, as well as Balor's match against Damian Priest at WWE Bad Blood.
