First Ever Women's Money In The Bank Ladder Match Set

WWE Money In The Bank is set to make history.

After a planned number one contender's match went awry on Smackdown Live, brand Commissioner Shane McMahon made an announcement that would change the face of the WWE. At June's Money in the Bank show, five women will compete in the first ever Money in the Bank women's ladder match. The winner will have an opportunity at a title shot whenever they please.

Charlotte, Natayla, Carmella, Becky Lynch and Tamina will be featured in the match. The five were booked in a top contender match, but it never got started as all five brawled around ringside before the match could get underway.

The match will be the 18th Money in the Bank ladder match in company history.

WWE Money in the Bank takes place June 18 from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Fightful will have full, live coverage and a post-show podcast.
