- MLW update: Event schedule changes, sellout streaks & more news
The arena and live event division is revamping the 2022 schedule. Expect some change-ups in the calendar… and surprises on the horizon as business is about to pick up on the television end of the league’s operations.
MLW’s arena sellout streak started in Dallas in March, with the Kings of Colosseum card in Philadelphia, continuing the trend. Could NYC be next? It sure looks that way.
MLW returns to New York City for the first time in 3 years June 23 for the Battle Riot IV and the enthusiasm is palpable. Tickets are becoming scarce as this super card is tracking to sellout, just like the Battle Riot III did last year. Get your tickets before they’re gone at MLWNYC.com and Eventbrite.

- Ruby Soho spoke with CBS Sports' Shakiel Mahjouri about starring in "Carpool Karaoke"
It was an incredible experience. I'm very, very fortunate enough to have been a part of it. And when the trailer came out and I'm on the same trailer as Matthew McConaughey and Zooey Deschanel and Snoop Dogg. That's one of my 'what is my life moments?' that I had. This is happening. This is a show I've watched before that I'm a fan of and I'm on the trailer. That's wild to me. But I'm so lucky. So, so lucky.
I was so excited. I could not possibly type the words 'yes' faster when I was asked to be a part of it. I couldn't believe it. I couldn't believe that an opportunity like this kind of came my way. That is a huge thanks to AEW to to put us out there to represent the company and everything. I was ecstatic about it.
- Muscle and Fitness recently profiled Toni Storm and her fitness journey.
“I’m feeling more ready than ever,” says Storm, who’s enthusiasm is infectious as she talks of her journey thus far. “I’ve always trained, I’ve always stayed consistent, but it’s really in the last year that I’ve really started to see myself developing as an athlete. For example, when I was in NXT, you can even see in the footage, I’m not in the greatest physical condition that I ever was, but with moving to America from the UK, huge lifestyle changes, Covid, life just in general can really be harder at times than it is in others, and during my time in NXT I didn’t feel like I was perfect with my training and my nutrition, but really in the last year I’ve been kicking it into gear and taking it up a notch. I’m training the most consistently than I’ve ever been, and I’m starting to see some really good results.”
