A former TNA star made their debut at the AEW Dynamite taping.
The January 22nd episode of AEW Dynamite emanated from the Knoxville Coliseum in Knoxville, Tennessee. According to fans in attendance, a dark match was held ahead of the live episode of AEW Dynamite.
In the dark match, former TNA Digital Media Champion Crazzy Steve lost to Serpentico. This marked Steve's AEW debut.

Steve also thanked AEW in a tweet.
Steve is still listed on TNA's roster page, but he has not wrestled for the company since April. He has continued to compete on the independent scene, and he wrestled at AAA Cierre De La Gira Origenes in December. Steve previously held the TNA World Tag Team Championship with Abyss.
