Freddie Prinze Jr. talks about Vince McMahon and his aversion to sneezing.
One of the most well-known quirks associated with Vincent Kennedy McMahon is his aversion to those sneezing around him. In the past, it has been said that McMahon views sneezing as a sign of weakness.
Freddie Prinze Jr., on the latest episode of his podcast, Wrestling With Freddie, revealed that while he can't say for sure if he ever sneezed around Vince, he believes that by the time he started working at WWE, Vince McMahon was already leaning into the stories about his aversion to sneezing and playing it up.
"I don't think so. If I did, I didn't care. I mean, it's a normal thing," said Freddie. "I know. I've heard all like the 'ew, gross' stories and all that. But he just plays it up, you know? He doesn't like it, but who wants to get sneezed on, who wants to get sick? Nobody. But I think that's been blown up more than it actually is. Or when I worked there — at one point it had been a real thing, but even he kind of played it up a little bit, at this point. But I never got in trouble for sneezing."
In the past, Freddie has talked about his relationship with Vince McMahon and how he thought it was comical that Vince McMahon had never heard of Robocop. Read more here.
