FTR makes a surprise appearance on Dynamite.
On the August 7 edition of AEW Dynamite, Renee Paquette informed Orange Cassidy that Kyle O'Reilly and Mark Briscoe would be missing their trios match due to travel issues. Cassidy insisted on going forward with the match, noting that he found a couple of local boys to team with him.
Cassidy then came out with FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) for the match against RUSH, The Beast Mortos, and Roderick Strong. The trio ended up winning the match after hitting the Orange Punch/Shatter Machine combo on RUSH.

This match marked the first time that FTR has wrestled on Dynamite since February 28, 2024.
