FTR Reveal Length Of New Contracts, Intent To Retire On 4/14 AEW Rampage

FTR have revealed how long their new AEW contracts are.

Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler, collectively known as FTR, signed with AEW in May 2020. They were coming off a successful WWE run in which they became the first WWE Tag Team Triple Crown Winners. Since they joined AEW, the duo have won the AEW, ROH, AAA, and IWGP tag team titles. Their contracts were coming up on April 2023, and they took some time off to make a decision.

Following their return at AEW Revolution 2023, FTR beat The Gunns (Austin and Colten Gunn) in a Titles vs, AEW Careers match to win the AEW World Tag Team Championship. Harwood subsequently confirmed that he and Wheeler re-signed with AEW.

FTR appeared on the April 14 episode of AEW Rampage, and Wheeler addressed the uncertainty surrounding their futures. He stated that AEW had four more years of FTR, as he implied that they signed four-year deals. Wheeler also revealed that they would retired after the deals were up. He emphasized that their mission was to prove that they're the best team of all time.

Harwood also thanked the fans and made it clear that this next run was to pay them back for all their support.
