FTR claims to be the best tag team in the world and they want to prove it.
Already on a collision course with The Young Bucks, FTR want to add a match against The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) to their resume.
“Just today there was a tweet about us and Motor City Machine Guns and we get those all the time but today I made mention of it [to Tony Kahn] so we’ve spoken about it," Dax Hardwood told Cassidy Haynes and Dom Mallon on Bodyslam's The Push. "I would love to [work with them]. I mean if we’re going to go down as the greatest tag team of all time we need to work with the greatest and they are one of the greatest and we need to beat them to be the greatest. You have the North that everyone wants us to work with. Josh Alexander and Ethan Page. The Dawsons. James Storm and Eli Drake, the NWA Tag Team Champions, Tama and T. We want to work with all those guys. I’ve heard of [the Koloff Dynasty] who has Nikita [Koloff] in their corner, but Nikita is a shell of his former self and he doesn’t want any part of Tully. Tully even at 65 will handle Nikita easy.”
Shelley seems keen on the idea, jumping in on a recent social media conversation between The Young Bucks and FTR, asking if they had room for one more team.
Room for one more? Team, I mean? https://t.co/BgMXLYcEHl

The Motor City Machine Guns are the reigning IMPACT Tag Team Champions while FTR are the AEW Tag Team Champions. The Young Bucks are currently smashing phones and paying fines.
