Fuego Del Sol Says 'Son' Fuego 2 Is Presumed Dead, Likely Not Related To Cody Rhodes' AEW Departure

Fuego Del Sol provides an update on his "son," Fuego Del Sol 2.

At one point, Too Fast Too Fuego, the tandem of Fuego Del Sol and his son, Fuego 2, appeared poised to take over the AEW tag team division. Then, one day, Fuego disappeared. The disappearance occurred suspiciously as Cody and Brandi Rhodes left AEW. Now, Fuego has provided a heartbreaking update on his son, telling AJ Awesome that Fuego 2 is presumed dead.

Despite the unique timing coincidence, Fuego is sure that this has nothing to do with Cody Rhodes.

"RIP to Fuego 2. He went missing, we didn't know what happened. A lot of people wanted to point out that it was around the same time Cody Rhodes left AEW. I don't think those two things are related whatsoever, and I don't know why people like to bring it up. I miss Cody too." said Fuego. "However, my son, Son of Fuego, Fuego 2, went missing, and now, I believe he's presumed dead. If he's out there, please come home son. I miss you, your family misses you, and we need you back, but if he's no longer with us, RIP. I'm sure there will be many more Fuegos along the way."

A truly tragic moment in the world of wrestling, not only for the Fuego family but for all of the fans of the great tradition of Lucha Libre from Alabama.

Kidd Bandit, in a 2022 interview with Fightful, spoke about their experience wrestling Too Fast Too Fuego and working with Fuego 2, who was definitely not Cody Rhodes. Learn more about that here.

RIP Fuego 2. Leave the memories alone.
