Gabe Kidd Issues Challenge For NJPW STRONG Openweight Title Iron Man Match At NJPW Windy City Riot

Gabe Kidd has again laid out a challenge to Tomohiro Ishii for an NJPW STRONG Openweight Title match after they made history at NJPW Battle in the Valley.

Gabe Kidd and Tomohiro Ishii opened the NJPW Battle in the Valley 2025 card with a battle for the NJPW STRONG Openweight Title. This match made history as it was the first time that a match for this championship went to a 30-minute time-limit draw. In what should be a surprise to no one, this result did not sit well with Kidd.

Immediately after the match, Gabe Kidd got on the microphone. He said that since Tomohiro Ishii wants to push him to the limit, they can test themselves again at NJPW Windy City Riot in a 30-minute Iron Man Match. This challenge led to both men slapping each other, seemingly in agreement to the fight, before they were separated again.
