Gabe Sapolsky talks about some of the legit tough guys in NXT.
EVOLVE 131 will stream live on the WWE Network tomorrow night and that match card includes a bout between Adam Cole and Akira Tozawa for the NXT Championship, an EVOLVE Tag Title match, Matt Riddle versus Drew Gulak and there are two WWE Performance Center recruits who'll be in action in Adrian Jaoude and Babatunde who've been competing in EVOLVE over the past year.
Jaoude is a former Mixed Martial Artist and put together an 8-3 record in the sport of MMA. He is well-versed in the sport and will be wrestling at EVOLVE 131 and EVOLVE 132 this weekend. EVOLVE booker Gabe Sapolsky talked with James Stewart of 'Wrestling Inside The Ropes' to discuss EVOLVE's weekend of wrestling and expressed that Adrian Jaoude may legitimately be the toughest guy in the WWE Performance Center in regards to those who have legit fighting backgrounds.
“We’re bringing a very unique tag team match there where we have Arturo Ruas (Adrian Jaoude) from NXT who’s actually from Brazil, where he basically destroyed everybody in MMA and he’s an expert in Capoeira. Legitimately, perhaps the toughest guy at the WWE P.C., and that includes Matt Riddle from the UFC and all the other exceptional athletes they have in there.” He said.
