Gable Steveson will decide his future on the July 25 episode of WWE NXT.
Olympic gold medalist Gable Steveson appeared on NXT multiple times in recent weeks. He trained Eddy Thorpe for his NXT Underground Match against Damon Kemp, and he accompanied Eddy to the ring for the bout. Steveson then noted that he had a lot to think about regarding his future.
During a brief promo on the July 18 episode of NXT, Steveson noted that he could pursue his dreams of competing internationally or stay in WWE, and he stated that he would make a decision on the July 25 episode of NXT.

Elsewhere on the show, NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes, Trick Williams, and Ilja Dragunov will face Schism (Joe Gacy, Jagger Reid, and Rip Fowler) in a six-man tag team match. The two trios brawled backstage on the July 18 episode. Hayes will defend the title against Dragunov at NXT Great American Bash, so they will try to coexist in the six-man tag team match.
Additionally, Cora Jade will face Dana Brooke in a Kendo Stick Match. The two stars have been feuding in recent weeks, and Jade beat the veteran via referee's decision on the June 20 episode of NXT. Brooke has paired up with Kelani Jordan, who lost to Jade on the July 11 episode of NXT. After the match, Brooke saved Jordan from Jade.
