Gail Kim talks about the preparation that she has done heading into her match against Tessa Blanchard tomorrow at 'Rebellion'.
It has been a full year since IMPACT Wrestling Hall Of Famer Gail Kim had her last match in the sport of professional wrestling and the last time she wrestled for IMPACT was at the 2017 'Bound For Glory' pay-per-view. Gail is stepping back in the ring on Sunday to challenge Tessa Blanchard at 'Rebellion' and the build-up to this match started in January at the company's 'Homecoming' pay-per-view.
Gail Kim stated during an interview in 2018 that the reason she decided to step away from the ring was because of the injuries she piled up and particularly mentioned having back problems that could've resulted in there being bone on bone had she not got the back surgery done. Kim recently spoke with Jim Varsallone of the Miami Herald to promote 'Rebellion' and shared that she does not plan on getting back in the ring after the 'Rebellion' match and added that she'll probably have another back surgery in the future.
“My intention right now is no. I don’t expect to get in the ring again, and my back is why [I’m] not in the ring. I made sure my back was good to go for this but it does look like we’re probably gonna have another back surgery at some point." She shared.
During last night's episode of IMPACT on the Pursuit Channel, The Rascalz versus Moose and The North was added to the 'Rebellion' match card along with a Scarlett Bordeaux "Smokeshow" segment.
