A tag team match has been announced for the July 8 episode of AEW Rampage.
Last week, Jonathan Gresham shook the hand of Tully Blanchard and agreed to face two of his best clients. It was revealed tonight during the July 1 episode of Rampage that Gresham and Lee Moriarty will face Toa Liona and Kaun (Gates of Agony) next Friday on Rampage.
Gresham is tired of (two) AEW stars calling themselves the best technical wrestlers in the world (footage was shown of Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli). He has spent 17 years chasing that dream and has now accomplished it as the ROH World Champion. Come next week on Rampage, he plans on showing everybody why.
