GCW Owner Brett Lauderdale Advised By Lawyer To Not Comment On Fake COVID Test Accusations

Brett Lauderdale has responded to accusations of faking COVID tests.

Independent wrestler Dirty Ron McDonald took to social media and accused GCW owner Brett Lauderdale of using him to falsify COVID testing results.

McDonald provided screenshots of his conversation with Lauderdale and the false documents saying certain talents tested negative for COVID.

GCW held its Collective event in October 2020 while the pandemic was still prevalent. A handful of talents tested positive for COVID coming out of the event. After the event, Lauderdale spoke with Fightful and addressed the positive tests and GCW protocol.

When reached for comment, Lauderdale provided Fightful with the following statement:

"I've referred this matter to my lawyer and as much as I'd like to comment, I've been advised not to."
